Buzz also needs open web protocols.

On the Google Buzz team blog, it just released several open web protocols used by Buzz.

(2) Oauth It is used to authorize the Buzz security, for example the client-server information encryption of Buzz.

(3) Pubsubhubbub The Pubsub protocol can be used to instantly retrieve the updated Buzz.

(3) Salmon-protocol It is a standard protocol for Buzz comments and annotations update between sources and subscribers.
