Start your CMS with tiny Webby!

September 6, 2010

Simple but powerful

There are a lot of options for making a content management system (CMS). Many require a big framework. You have to dig your head deep enough to get out the basic clues for making your first content based web.

There could be a simple answer of it. That is Webby, started by Tim Pease, an open source Ruby on Rails project. It is small yet powerful, which can meet many requirements of building a simple web, for example kylebanker Blog, the source of which is also downloadable from here.

Do not be over ambitious, start something simple and manageable, for example Webby!
