Acorss device Web, a future?

Have you ever thinking about the distributed control of Web across devices?  At least, I do not quite perceive the benefits of doing this at first beginning.

But Armando Neto, the author of HTML5Rocks-i18n, seems have a lot of passion for this. He just built an app, called umeboshi-fireteam using Express, Haml, Faye to realize such function.

For now, the App can be used to control the video play across different devices. You need to imagine the possible applications, which could be really many!

Demo 1, video control

Demo 2, music control
