PhoneGap for Android

Do you still remember our article, develop smart phoneapp with phonegap?

Now the PhoneGap can be used on Android. With the PhoneGap AndroidSDK, you can easily make an HTML, CSS, and Javascript based Android App. It also has a PhoneGap/Android Dev Script, which can be used for generating project and updating and testing your Droid App. The script is written using Ruby, however you also can choose to use jRuby for this purpose.

The SDK supports various functions, Accelerometer, Camera, Device, Geolocation, Network, Notification. The SDK is programmed with JAVA. You can call some of these APIs in your HTML, Javascript, CSS based client.

One of great things about PhoneGap framework is that it supports device or emulator based testing very well.
